About Me

Sophie King, the first-born of quadruplets, grew up in Richmond, VA, where competitive sports were central to her upbringing. A former UConn swimmer, she began formally running in 2021, inspired by her ill-father's dream of completing another marathon. The following year, she qualified for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials in that very event. King was discovered by Coach Scott Raczko in 2023.
